Throughout recorded time there have been hundreds of people who have claimed they have the ability to see into the future. Some of these perople really could. Most, however, concentrated their efforts on convincing others that they had this ability, when in reality, they were charlatans.

There have been a selected few individuals who indeed had the "gift" of second sight. In the Bible they were known as prophets. In other ages they have been called "Seers." These extraordinary people are now dubbed "Psychics."
